Casey grew up in Bloomington, IN.  She attended Earlham College where she studied ceramics with Judy Wojcik and Scott Shafer.  After graduating, Casey spent the next 5 years between Indiana and California working and exploring.  Since her final return to Bloomington, Casey started her ceramics business, CMT Pottery.  Before the pandemic, you could find her at many of the local art shows and markets around Bloomington and Indianapolis selling her wares. Now, as a new mom, she spends her spare time making small batch ceramics in her garage studio, built with the help of her fantastic husband and wonderful community of friends and family. As a functional  ceramicist, she is interested in the process of making vessels, trying new techniques, and also providing a sensory experience for the person holding that vessel.  Casey believes functional pottery is to be used and appreciated daily in hopes to enhance the quality of life.
